Job Description

This role is responsible for managing and directing the activities of a group of employees in the Tactical Solutions Project Controls organization.

The ideal candidate will have mastery of Earned Value Management and experience leading program teams with adherence to the BAE Systems EVM System Description and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and training to designated project control analysts ensuring compliance to BAE Systems internal systems and government regulations.
  • Manage and direct the activities of a group of employees in the Tactical Solutions Project Controls organization.
  • Develop and maintain Earned Value Management systems and processes.
  • Lead program teams with adherence to the BAE Systems EVM System Description and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Foster innovative approaches within Project Controls in support of procedures and policies.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company.
Requirements:
  • BS in related field plus 12 years or more years of related experience.
  • Understanding of typical project requirements and processes.
  • Five or more years of demonstrated experience working on programs requiring Earned Value Management Systems.
  • Excellent communication, Client facing experience and/or consultative experience working across multiple groups and boundaries.
  • Excellent strategic and data analytical skills, including metrics, cost estimates, profitability, and risk.
