**Division of Communication, Composition, and Rhetoric**

We are seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach first-year writing courses at Methodist University. As an adjunct instructor, you will have the opportunity to develop and deliver course content, grade assignments, and provide feedback to students.

**Qualifications**

• A PhD or Master's degree in English, preferably with a Composition and Rhetoric/Writing Studies emphasis
• At least one year teaching first-year writing at an accredited university, with evidence of high-quality teaching

**Responsibilities**

• Develop and deliver course content for first-year writing courses
• Grade assignments and provide feedback to students
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the Division of Communication, Composition, and Rhetoric
