Key Responsibilities- Answering Calls and Responding to Inquiries: Respond to high volumes of inbound and outbound calls from patients and other callers, addressing their questions and concerns in a courteous and empathetic manner.
- Scheduling Appointments: Schedule appointments for medical and dental clinics, ensuring that patients receive timely and convenient access to our services.
- Researching Information: Utilize accessible resources to research and provide accurate information to patients and other callers.
- Routing Calls and Tasks: Route calls and tasks to the appropriate departments, ensuring that patients receive the support they need in a timely manner.
- Managing Urgent Calls: Manage urgent calls and prioritize tasks to ensure that patients receive prompt attention and care.
- Education and Experience: High school degree required; college education a plus. 1+ years of relevant call center/customer service experience in a healthcare environment highly desired.
- Language Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish skills required for this role.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office software and Electronic Health Records (EPIC) preferred.
This is a fast-paced call center office environment, requiring prolonged periods of sitting, use of repetitive mouse movements, and moderate to loud noise levels. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds and have manual dexterity to operate keyboards, fax machines, telephones, and other business equipment.
