SUPERVISES: Customer Service Representatives
POSITION SUMMARY: Acts as the main liaison for clients and staff at the branch, addressing their inquiries and needs. Manages various transactions while ensuring adherence to banking regulations and policies. Promotes and markets banking products to assist clients in achieving their financial objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise the operations of Customer Service Representatives.
- Identify, cultivate, and manage both personal and business deposit relationships.
- Solicit, originate, underwrite, and finalize consumer loans, overseeing the consumer loan portfolio.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients to enhance their banking experience.
- Assist team members and clients with complex inquiries regarding their accounts.
- Engage in proactive outreach to develop new deposit or banking relationships.
- Educate clients on and cross-sell bank products and services.
- Facilitate the opening and closing of various deposit accounts, including IRAs.
- Recruit and train new Customer Service Representatives.
- Provide ongoing training and support for existing Customer Service Representatives.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the CDAR's program to expand product offerings.
- Coordinate with the Trust Department for the management of the precious metals vault.
- Oversee the Safe Deposit Box area.
- Process daily overdrafts for the region.
- Serve as a backup for teller transactions when necessary.
- Participate in community events to enhance awareness of First United Bank.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in retail banking.
