Job Summary

CoBank is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to join our team. As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing significant account relationships with existing and prospective customers in assigned markets and/or industry segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently manage the day-to-day customer relationship of complex, highly visible accounts.
  • Meet regularly with customers and gather information on their businesses, needs, strategic direction, and earnings to determine business opportunities.
  • Call on potential or existing customers to develop new business and increase or retain existing business.
  • Cross-market CoBank's products and services to meet goals for assigned accounts.
  • Develop and implement plans to capitalize on marketing opportunities.
  • Guide the development and analysis of financial data for new or renewed financing arrangements.
  • Recommend decisions on loan terms and loan servicing actions within approved limits on assigned accounts.
  • Manage to profitability and credit quality targets for portfolio.
  • Guide credit analysis area in the development and analysis of financial background data for new or renewed loans.
  • Prudently service accounts to protect CoBank and minimize losses.
  • Maintain expertise in a designated market/industry segment and keep abreast of industry trends, technology, regulatory requirements, and the competitive environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a relevant discipline.
  • 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in banking, financial services, or agriculture.
