Overview:
Our client, a distinguished and award-winning organization, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support their corporate events and business development initiatives. This role is essential in fostering community engagement and driving the firm's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring accurate tracking of personnel, business development opportunities, and project details.
- Monitor and coordinate the renewal of employee community involvement within the CRM, including certifications and licenses.
- Assist in conducting business development research and compiling relevant statistics.
- Facilitate connections between employees and community activities, including board opportunities.
- Manage event and sponsorship payments efficiently.
- Organize meetings and arrange travel logistics for business development activities.
- Coordinate specific business development events and oversee sponsorships.
- Support internal events such as company picnics, holiday celebrations, and corporate outings.
- Document and distribute meeting minutes accurately.
- Assist in the coordination of holiday gifts and greeting cards.
- Provide backup support for events, tradeshows, and dinners, including after-hours functions.
- Record and process mileage, timecards, and various reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate administrative tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with a capacity to multitask and follow up on various initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and manage expense reports and receipts efficiently.
