Advanced Practice Opportunity in Pain Management
- Full-time position with a 4-day work week.
- Responsible for delivering office-based pain management services to both new and returning adult patients, which includes medication oversight, medical cannabis certification, patient education and counseling, and monitoring medication adherence through various assessments.
- Engage in minor procedures such as trigger point injections, joint injections, and occipital blocks, with potential training available for candidates lacking current skills in these areas.
- Opportunity to provide Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) with appropriate certification, though this is not a mandatory requirement.
- Occasional consultations for inpatients and emergency department patients may be required, shared among team members.
- Initial appointment durations will be set at 1 hour for orientation, transitioning to standard durations of 30 minutes for established patients and 60 minutes for new patients as familiarity increases.
- Expected patient volume ranges from 12 to 20 patients daily, depending on the mix of new and established cases.
- Administrative time is not allocated within this role.
Compensation: Starting salary of $106,664 for those with pain management experience, with a reduced rate for candidates without prior experience. - In addition to the base salary, there is potential for additional earnings based on clinical productivity, measured through wRVU for services rendered.
- A productivity bonus is available for exceeding a threshold of 1,560 wRVU annually, with compensation of $50 per wRVU above this threshold.
- Outreach clinic participation may lead to a reduction in the annual wRVU threshold, rewarding additional clinical hours with travel time credits.
- Annual evaluations will determine any productivity bonuses, with timely notifications and payments following fiscal year-end.
Commencement Bonus: A one-time payment of $15,000 upon hire. - Benefits: Includes retirement plans (403b, 457b), 5 weeks of vacation, 6 holidays, and 5 days of sick leave.
- Moving expenses and CME allowances are also provided, along with health insurance options.
