Position Overview: This role involves working in multiple facilities, ensuring comprehensive neurology services are delivered to a diverse patient population.
Compensation: The salary for this position is competitive, with a base of $337,391, along with a commencement bonus of $25,000 and additional CME funds of $4,500 available for professional development and licensing expenses.
Work Schedule: The expected schedule is 4 to 4.5 days per week, with flexibility in determining the specific days off during the negotiation process.
Patient Care: The neurologist will manage a typical caseload of 12 to 16 patients daily, with a mix of new and established patients. Initial appointment durations will be longer to facilitate orientation, transitioning to standard durations as familiarity increases.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in general neurology, with preference given to those with experience in smaller healthcare settings. New graduates may also be considered.
Clinical Interests: Ideal candidates will have special interests in areas such as headaches, movement disorders, and epilepsy, among others. Skills in interpreting EEG studies and performing Botox injections are advantageous but not mandatory.
Team Collaboration: The neurologist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, providing office-based services and coordinating care with other specialists as needed.
Professional Development: The position includes opportunities for CME, with two weeks allocated annually, and a robust retirement plan with employer contributions.
