Advanced Practice Provider Position in Pain Management
We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to deliver comprehensive pain management services. This role is designed for a full-time commitment, operating on a 4-day work week, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.
- Role Overview: The practitioner will provide office-based pain management services to both new and established adult patients. Responsibilities include medication management, education and counseling, monitoring medication compliance, and performing minor procedures.
- Procedural Responsibilities: The role may involve minor procedures such as trigger point injections, joint injections, and occipital blocks. If the candidate lacks experience in these procedures, training will be provided to ensure proficiency over time.
- Consultation Services: The practitioner may occasionally provide consultations for inpatients and emergency department patients as part of a collaborative team.
- Appointment Structure: Initial appointment durations will be set at 1 hour for orientation, transitioning to standard durations of 30 minutes for established patients and 60 minutes for new patients.
- Productivity Expectations: The typical productivity range is between 12 to 20 patients per day, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment.
- Compensation Package: The base salary starts at $106,664 for candidates with pain management experience, with an initial salary of $90,664 for those without. Additional compensation is available based on clinical productivity, measured through wRVU metrics.
- Productivity Bonus: Practitioners exceeding a threshold of 1,560 wRVU in a fiscal year will receive a bonus of $50.00 for each additional wRVU generated.
- Commencement Bonus: A $15,000 commencement bonus will be awarded on the first pay date following hire.
- Benefits: The position includes a comprehensive benefits package, including retirement plans, vacation time, and health insurance options.
