Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing & Inventory Specialist to join our team at Agiliti in Greensboro, NC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and control all parts and materials required for repair activities.
- Order parts, supplies, and materials daily and track their delivery.
- Ensure correct parts are provided to technicians for approved repairs and rework repairs.
- Record all completed repairs, track, and provide a monthly statement to lab leadership.
- Investigate rework and discuss with lab leadership if necessary.
- Update and maintain part logs for accuracy.
- Complete purchase requests with accuracy and follow up on orders.
- Quality inspect critical parts upon receipt and document all part inspections.
- Assist with new part development and review part costs.
- Monitor changes to parts and part suppliers with lab leadership.
- Provide general customer service for part orders, statuses, and deliveries.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or above.
- Prior inventory control and purchasing experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good hand/eye coordination.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Motivated and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work with direct and indirect supervision.
- Multi-tasking skills.
- Good attendance and punctuality required.
Preferred Skills:
- General computer literacy/office environment.
- Dynamics 365 experience is a plus.
- Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Basic Math skills.
- Basic data entry.
Work Environment:
Work in a lab environment, standing, walking, bending, and sitting for up to eight hours.
Lift and carry up to fifty pounds.
Language: English
