Job Summary

As a High-Voltage Control Systems Design Specialist at Entegee, you will work on designing and developing high-voltage control systems for various applications. You will provide technical guidance to various engineering disciplines on projects involved and guide less experienced Engineers through designs. Your primary responsibility will be to develop statements of work from limited customer specifications and aircraft surveys.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-voltage control systems for various applications
  • Provide technical support/guidance to various engineering disciplines on projects involved
  • Guide less experienced Engineers through designs
  • Develop statements of work from limited customer specifications and aircraft surveys
  • Research/review engineering data to determine efficient modification/alteration methods
  • Produce design data for manufacture/assembly/installation of aircraft modifications/components
  • Preliminary engineering analysis for substantiating aircraft modifications
  • Check design data produced by junior Design Engineers
  • Coordinate Certification/Substantiation activities with Engineering UM's & ODA staff
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related scientific field, or equivalent experience/coursework
  • Six years of industry experience in electrical/avionic design for transport category aircraft
  • Three years of AutoCAD or comparable program experience with demonstrable proficiency
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations, certification processes, and requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of standard aircraft components, materials, fabrication practices, aviation hardware, and proper application in design
  • Expertise in engineering principles for Electrical Load Analysis and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis reports
  • Extensive knowledge of personal computer systems including Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in using technical data such as engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, service bulletins, illustrated parts catalogs, wiring diagrams etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Engineering
