Job Title: Control Systems Specialist

Wet Dog Glass, LLC is seeking a skilled Control Systems Specialist to join our team. As a Control Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the assembly and installation of control panels, programming of PLCs, and communication with supervisors to ensure seamless production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assembly of control panels, including dimensioning and layout, mounting of components, and wiring of components.
  • Programming of PLCs to meet specific requirements.
  • Communication with supervisors to discuss changes, corrections, and improvements.
  • Tracking and managing inventory to maintain stock for production schedules.
  • Assembly of control panels onto finished equipment, including field wiring, cabling, and conduit bending.
  • Assembly of finished equipment, including mounting metal parts, applying stickers and labels, cleaning, and paint touch-up.
  • Assembly and installation of small gas plumbing trains.
  • Aid other departments in the building of the complete unit as part of the production team.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in fabrication, construction, electrical, or related fields.
  • Experience in electrical wiring, control systems, industrial machines, and PLCs is preferred.
Physical Demands:
  • Light physical effort, including frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials up to 25Lbs.
  • Medium physical effort, including occasional lifting or moving of materials up to 50Lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit or stand, bend, kneel, and reach.
  • Perform repetitive wiring tasks constantly using hands and arms.
  • Ability to see and handle small parts and wires of different colors.
