Position Overview:
Crane Engineering Sales, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Service Coordinator to enhance our operational efficiency. This role is essential in providing exceptional support for our products and services to both Account Managers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Service Coordinator, you will:
  • Develop and sustain comprehensive knowledge of our products to effectively assist both internal and external clients.
  • Oversee all assigned service projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
  • Compile project documentation, including equipment manuals and parts lists.
  • Review inspection reports and summarize findings.
  • Prepare and present service quotations for field and in-house repair opportunities.
  • Support the customer service team with order processing tasks.
  • Gather credit information to facilitate the onboarding of new clients.
  • Request and compare quotations from various vendors.
  • Estimate labor costs for service assignments.
  • Contribute to margin enhancement through strategic discount acquisition and inventory management.
  • Assist sales personnel in securing new business opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of related experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Sales experience is advantageous.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to engage professionally with clients over the phone.
  • Strong multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Capability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
