Maintenance Operations Manager - Manufacturing Sector

  • AllSearch Professional Staffing is representing a prominent industrial manufacturing organization in search of a dedicated Maintenance Operations Manager.
  • The ideal candidate will oversee the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and upkeep of industrial machinery, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and machining systems, ensuring peak performance to support production operations. We are looking for a safety-oriented professional with strong technical expertise, team leadership, problem-solving abilities, and effective time management skills to lead a maintenance team of 12 personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of production machinery and auxiliary equipment, assisting team members in diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
  • Leverage Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to pinpoint high-wear components for preventive maintenance schedules, minimizing unexpected downtime.
  • Foster a positive work environment within the maintenance department and across the facility.
  • Collaborate with production management to synchronize maintenance efforts.
  • Champion the effective use of CMMS within the maintenance team.
  • Engage directly with team members in troubleshooting and develop targeted training plans to enhance individual skills.
  • Propose strategies to optimize production processes, equipment efficiency, and product quality.
  • Conduct research and implement capital expenditure initiatives.
  • Maintain a day shift schedule with on-call responsibilities for 24/7 operations.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred technical degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in industrial maintenance, focusing on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical skills, coupled with effective supervisory and mentoring capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, with experience in a CMMS platform.
