Job Summary:

U.S. Farathane is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resource Assistant to support the administration of safety and human resource procedures in our manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating recruitment efforts, onboarding new employees, and maintaining accurate HR files and records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, interview, and select employees to fill vacant hourly positions and coordinate the onboarding process for all new employees.
  • Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees.
  • Assist with payroll functions, including hourly timecard review, processing, and answering employee questions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation.
  • Prepare new employee files and ensure confidentiality of HR information.
  • Provide clerical support to the HR department and assist with special events, such as benefits enrollment and employee recognition events.
  • Assist with research projects and special initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years' experience in an administrative role and/or an Associate's degree.
  • 1-2 years' experience with Microsoft Office.
  • HR experience preferred in a manufacturing or plant environment.
Working Conditions:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with regular exposure to manufacturing operations and equipment. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment and maintain confidentiality of HR information.
