Position Overview
As a Release Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Release Management process across the organization for various key applications and programs. This position involves the coordination and communication of release plans, ensuring the integrity of all systems across vendors and teams implementing technological changes.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Release Management process by coordinating and communicating releases across the organization for multiple key applications and programs.
- Maintain and communicate the release plan and schedule, ensuring alignment among business stakeholders, IT, and vendors.
- Identify and escalate risks, collaborating with the program team to mitigate and resolve issues affecting release scope, schedule, and quality.
- Contribute to the release inventory and calendar, which includes projects, change requests, and defects.
- Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews.
- Assist in executing critical activities related to the operational programs of each SAAS system, including software releases, system configuration, defect management, and change requests, while ensuring adherence to release processes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred.
- ITIL certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Change and Release Management processes.
- At least 3 years of experience in a large IT organization is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile Development and SDLC methodology.
- Knowledge of ITSM tools.
- Strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and web-based systems.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
