Role Overview

In partnership with the interdisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the strategies and services essential for addressing the end-of-life care needs of patients and their families. A dynamic, outcome-focused care plan will be developed and continuously refined through the nursing process, relationship-centered care principles, and a holistic philosophy, ensuring that the evolving needs of patients and families are met while promoting a peaceful and dignified passing.

Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Nursing Manager and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse will utilize clinical judgment to assess and execute treatment plans for patients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments, monitoring patient conditions, and implementing appropriate interventions to prevent complications related to specific health issues.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (to be obtained within 5 years)
  • Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in acute care, emergency, or rehabilitation settings
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (to be obtained within 90 days)
  • Valid Driver's License in the State of Michigan

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, requiring availability for on-call weekends.
