JOB OVERVIEW:
Spectrum Health is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Registered Nurse to become a vital part of our Hospice team. In this role, you will provide compassionate end-of-life care and manage symptoms for patients with a limited life expectancy. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, design, implement, and evaluate care plans tailored to the unique needs of our patients and their families.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate and execute treatment plans for patients under the guidance of the Nursing Manager.
- Monitor patient conditions to prevent and address physiological complications.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing is mandatory.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required within five years of hire.
- Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license is essential.
- A minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- A valid Driver's License is necessary.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is full-time, operating during the day shift, with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, including on-call responsibilities during weekends.
