Job Overview

Amberwell Health is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Registration Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for conducting professional patient interviews, obtaining demographic, financial, and biographical information, and verifying patient insurance eligibility.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient registration and verification processes in accordance with Amberwell Health policies and procedures.
  • Gather demographic, financial, and biographical information from patients and their representatives.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
  • Accurately complete all aspects of patient registration and status updates.
  • Enter patient charges into the computer system promptly and accurately.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
