Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Medical Assistant Specialist to join our team at Amberwell Health Hiawatha. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support services in a fast-paced clinic setting.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will be responsible for assisting patients with medical procedures, administering injections and vaccinations, performing EKGs, and conducting CLIA waived lab testing. Additionally, you will document medical history, vital signs, and other patient information accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and verify patient health history
  • Gather pertinent health data through physical assessments and biological samples
  • Collect specimens for laboratory analysis
  • Provide patient care as directed by physicians or advanced practice clinicians
  • Document patient interactions, medications, and test results
  • Assist healthcare professionals with exams, diagnostic procedures, and treatments
