Primary Care Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at Amberwell Health in Kansas. As a licensed practical nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver top-notch medical services.
About the Role- Assist patients with clinical services, including patient intake, vital signs, injections, and laboratory testing.
- Obtain and verify patient health history, gather pertinent data through physical assessments and biological samples.
- Document patient interactions, medications, and test results in the medical record.
- Assist other healthcare professionals with exams, diagnostic procedures, and minor surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with providers and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Gather and document patient information, including medical history and test results.
- Perform point-of-care testing, collect specimens, and prepare patients for exams and procedures.
- Provide education and support to patients on their treatment plans and wellness strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with insurance requirements and guidelines for patient care.
- Unencumbered active Kansas nursing license
- BLS certification
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinic setting (preferable)
- Able to multitask, possess good organization skills, and effective communication skills
