Job Overview

Exciting Opportunity: We are seeking a dynamic individual to spearhead the operations of a distinguished retail establishment. This role offers significant potential for career progression.

Work Environment: This position requires onsite presence with the flexibility to work any day of the week.

Compensation Package: Competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $70,000, plus performance-based bonuses of up to 20%.

Educational Requirements: A minimum of a High School Diploma is required; an associate's degree or higher is preferred.

Experience Required:

  • 3 to 5 years of management experience in retail or hospitality, with a focus on luxury customer service.
  • Proven ability to nurture and develop talent across various levels.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales within a multi-brand retail context.
  • Experience in enhancing sales performance through strategic business development initiatives.
  • Expertise in Fine Jewelry and Vintage Luxury sales.
  • Ability to understand and cater to a diverse clientele in a retail setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Educational background in retail or hospitality is advantageous.

Role Purpose: The Retail Operations Leader is responsible for achieving sales objectives by guiding team performance, enhancing customer experience, and overseeing operations in a multi-brand retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Set and hold team members accountable for sales and customer service goals.
  • Ensure the sales team possesses strong sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to uphold customer service standards while driving business results.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of team talent and create development plans.
  • Address team concerns fairly to foster a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with corporate offices on talent development and performance management.

Retail Sales & Operations Management:

  • Promote brand values and lead by example to inspire enthusiasm among the team.
  • Work with district management to devise sales strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and meet financial targets.
  • Utilize guest insights to improve customer experiences and maximize revenue.
  • Analyze performance metrics, recommend adjustments, and implement strategies for improvement.

Customer Experience & Relationship Management:

  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere that aligns with brand values.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Build collaborative relationships with management to enhance transparency and teamwork.
  • Utilize customer feedback to recognize achievements and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Organize staffing to meet customer and business needs effectively.

Event Management & Marketing:

  • Enhance customer engagement through effective marketing of high-revenue product categories.
  • Develop and execute business plans, including event strategies, in collaboration with district management.
  • Lead the implementation of marketing and merchandising strategies to achieve growth objectives.
  • Ensure an organized store and inventory environment.

Operational Standards:

  • Oversee adherence to operational standards and administrative responsibilities.
  • Ensure the sales team is informed of and complies with corporate policies, including inventory control.
  • Report any workplace incidents promptly.
