In the capacity of Retail Operations Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Retail to implement operational excellence across all retail functions, human resources, and financial management. Your role will be pivotal in establishing procedural standards and enhancing customer experiences, directly reporting to the Director of Retail to achieve and surpass sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with the Director of Retail and Store Managers to recruit, train, and develop a retail team that delivers exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrate expertise in executing core operational principles.
- Utilize your extensive experience in retail management to cultivate a customer-centric culture through superior service and visual merchandising.
- Exhibit strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and innovative problem-solving abilities.
- Manage merchandise planning, purchasing, and inventory control based on sales analytics.
- Oversee operational aspects, including store hours, profit and loss management, and financial reporting.
- Facilitate training programs focused on customer service and loss prevention.
- Conduct regular inventory assessments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to safety, security, and sanitation standards.
- Review staffing schedules to align with labor budgets.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in retail or sales environments.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Physical capability to perform tasks that involve reaching, lifting, and extensive standing.
