We are seeking an experienced Customer Service / Logistics Dispatcher to join our team at a world-class food manufacturer in Springdale, AR. As a key member of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for various customer service activities, including responding to inquiries, processing orders, coordinating customer freight requests, optimizing carrier selection, handling complaints, and compiling/analyzing/reporting relevant data.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle phone duties, greet visitors, schedule appointments, and perform clerical tasks as directed.
- Occasionally work after hours for shipment tracking and reporting.
- Run stock reports to check product availability and generate paperwork for customer work orders.
- Coordinate last-minute shipping requests and expedite orders as needed.
- Trace orders, provide shipping and tracking updates, and manage delivery exceptions.
- Ensure accurate invoicing by verifying computer-generated invoices and maintaining damage records.
- Handle returned merchandise efficiently and ensure proper credit is issued to customers.
- 1-3 years of dispatching experience and specifically logistics or transportation experience.
- Microsoft Office experience and Outlook experience to respond to high volume emails.
