JOB SUMMARY: The Refrigeration Quality Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining production schedules by assisting in the assembly and evaluation of the quality of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of all production phases and the ability to assess product quality throughout the process. The Refrigeration Quality Technician will consistently strive to deliver a high-quality product for our clients, work efficiently, document all processes and procedures, and uphold a safe working environment.

- Perform product testing, including support for complaint investigations and stability verification.
- Conduct inspections and audits of production operations.
- Generate reports on product testing results and communicate findings to relevant parties.
- Determine project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences, and necessary methods and materials based on blueprints and instructions.
- Engage in the internal audit program and complete corrective action reports.
- Assist in the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support document control and record retention as needed.
- Provide root cause analysis based on field feedback.
- Recommend design modifications and product enhancements based on field insights.
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and overhead cranes, utilizing relevant tools and equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (mandatory)
- 2 years of experience in the commercial or industrial refrigeration sector (preferred)
- Familiarity with refrigeration system flow and operation.
- Refrigeration handling certification (preferred) or the ability to obtain it within six months.
- Brazing experience (preferred)
- Ability to work from 10' ladders.
- HVAC & R field service experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of jobsite safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, capable of interacting with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Professional demeanor, demonstrating dependability, productivity, and meticulousness.
- Ability to adhere to procedures and accurately document outcomes.
- Capacity to work in a heavy manufacturing environment, involving stooping, kneeling, or crouching throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Able to lift products, equipment, and tools weighing up to 50 pounds and push or pull items weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
