Overview:
Soliant Education is in search of a committed and empathetic Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team in the Milford, NH area. This full-time role is designed for individuals who are passionate about supporting students with special needs across various grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist educators in executing individualized education plans (IEPs) and engaging instructional activities.
  • Provide personalized support to students in one-on-one or small group settings.
  • Facilitate daily living activities and ensure a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Encourage the growth of students' social, emotional, and academic abilities.
  • Track and document student progress and behavioral observations.
  • Maintain effective communication with teachers, parents, and other educational staff.
  • Help prepare instructional materials and organize classroom setups.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a paraprofessional or special education role is required.
  • Familiarity with special education methodologies and practices.
  • Ability to engage effectively with students with diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a sincere commitment to student success.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory; additional qualifications or certifications in special education are advantageous.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and other pre-employment screenings.
