**Job Title:** Perinatal Care Coordinator

St. Joseph's Health is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Perinatal Care Coordinator. In this role, you will work closely with the healthcare team to coordinate care for patients in our Labor & Delivery unit.

**About the Role:**
  • This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling options to balance your work and personal life.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating care for patients, including arranging for laboratory tests, medical imaging, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Our hospital is committed to excellence in patient care, with a focus on reducing C-section rates and promoting safe maternity practices.

Salary: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

**Responsibilities:**
  • Coordinate care for patients, including arranging for laboratory tests, medical imaging, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Communicate with patients and families, ensuring they understand their care plan and any necessary instructions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practice changes.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current LPN licensure in the State of New York.
  • One year of clinical experience in obstetrics or pediatrics preferred.
  • Current BLS and CPR certifications.
