Ambulatory Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ambulatory Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our outpatient areas, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate administrative tasks, including patient registration, insurance verification, and authorization
• Serve as a liaison between providers, staff, and external partners
• Manage complex workflows, including EPIC Referral WQs
Requirements:
• Associate's degree and two years of related experience in patient financial/insurance services
• Excellent written/oral communication skills, medical terminology, and medical billing/insurance requirements
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of computer systems, including Epic, Word, and Outlook
• Experience in ambulatory patient care administration, with focus on referrals, authorizations, and denials
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year
