Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nursing leader to join our team as the Director of Women's Services at Premier Global Links. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of women's health services, including labor and delivery, postpartum care, and neonatal care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage the daily operations of the Women's Services department, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
    • Oversee clinical and administrative staff, promoting a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental policies, procedures, and goals in line with best practices and organizational objectives.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accreditation standards for women's health services.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with hospital leadership to develop and manage the department's budget, resources, and staffing needs.
    • Foster strong relationships with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  • Quality Improvement
    • Promote continuous quality improvement initiatives and support evidence-based practices within the department.
    • Provide education and mentorship to staff, ensuring ongoing professional development and certification compliance.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Nurse License for Kentucky: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky.
    • AWHONN Certification Required: Certification from the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) is mandatory.
  • Experience and Qualifications
    • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in women's health, labor and delivery, or a related area.
    • At least 2-3 years of leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, with proven skills in team management and department oversight.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Education and Certifications
    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
    • Previous experience as a Director or Manager of Women's Services.
    • Advanced certifications in women's health, such as C-EFM (Certified in Electronic Fetal Monitoring) or NCC (National Certification Corporation) credentials.
