As the Director of Women's Services, you will oversee the activities and resources of the department to achieve organizational objectives. This role requires a strong leader who can develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards
Direct and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management
Plan and monitor staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives
Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets
Coordinate and direct internal/external audits
Create and foster an environment that encourages professional growth
Integrate evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols
Act as a resource for staff regarding obstetrical concerns and/or neonate concerns

Requirements

Associate's Degree Required
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification
Registered Nurse licensed to work in the State of Kentucky
