Job Title: Director of Women's Health Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Women's Health Services to join our team at HireNow Staffing Inc. in Mayfield, KY.

Job Summary:

The Director of Women's Health Services will be responsible for overseeing and managing the women's health services department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and effective management of departmental resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management:
    • Direct and manage all operations within the women's health services department.
    • Supervise and provide guidance to clinical and administrative staff.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
  • Quality & Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including those specific to women's health.
    • Monitor and improve quality of care through continuous evaluation and feedback.
    • Maintain records and documentation related to patient care and departmental operations.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans for the department.
    • Analyze and report on departmental performance and patient outcomes.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to address them.
  • Patient Care:
    • Ensure that all patients receive compassionate and comprehensive care.
    • Address patient concerns and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Education & Training:
    • Provide ongoing education and training to staff on best practices and new developments in women's health.
    • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Licensure & Certification:
    • Current RN license for Kentucky.
    • AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within a women's health or related department.
    • Demonstrated experience in leadership, strategic planning, and quality improvement.
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in healthcare management software and tools.
