Job Summary

The System Educator RN is a key member of our team, responsible for the management, coordination, and implementation of hospital-wide nursing orientation and staff development. This role requires a strong understanding of evidence-based practice, standards of care, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nursing orientation programs for new hospital nursing staff
  • Conduct regular skills checkoffs and provide education on new policies, procedures, and equipment
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment
  • Develop and maintain nursing education courses in HealthStream
  • Provide clinical resource support to Materiel's Management
Requirements
  • Current RN license by the Mississippi Board of Nursing
  • BLS/ACLS/PALS instructor certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
