Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Claire Myers Consulting. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to work independently or as part of a team to ensure company facilities operate efficiently and safely.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all company machinery, equipment, and facilities.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance to keep all machines running smoothly
  • Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues related to mechanical equipment, minor electrical systems, and minor plumbing systems
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, supplies used, and time spent on tasks
  • Collaborate with management to schedule and oversee third-party repairs as needed
  • E nsure compliance with safety standards and company protocols
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in maintenance or 3+ years' experience in commercial equipment and facility repair
  • A basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • A working knowledge of tools, devices, and common appliances
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
