Salary: $17.00 per hour

Job Summary: The Registrar is essential in upholding compliance with OCFS regulations for Family Day Care homes and School Age Child Care Programs. Key responsibilities encompass conducting inspections, reviewing necessary documentation, and managing the CCFS database for Registration programs. The Registrar will also deliver on-site technical support to child care programs and play a role in promoting high-quality child care within the community.Essential Job Duties:
  • Plan, execute, and document inspections as mandated
  • Identify and engage new providers
  • Provide technical support to providers
  • Participate in workshops and training sessions
  • Collaborate with the CCR&R team
  • Perform other assigned responsibilities
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in business, early childhood education, or human services
  • Valid driver's license
  • 1-3 years of experience in an office or regulated childcare environment
Work Environment: Standard office setting and in child care programs
Travel: Regional travel required
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Excel
Equipment Used: Computer, printer, telephone, scanner, calculator, fax
Employment Standards: Ability to work with low-income families, professionalism, and confidentiality maintenance.
