Job Title: Provider Services/Grants Manager

At Community Action Planning Council of Jefferson County, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Provider Services/Grants Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families in our community.

Job Summary:

The Provider Services/Grants Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating programs to improve the quality of child care in our service area. This includes coordinating professional development for child care professionals, conducting workshops and presentations, providing technical assistance and referrals, and contributing to the content and publishing of our department newsletters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement programs to increase the quality of child care in our service area.
  • Coordinate professional development for child care professionals, including workshops and presentations.
  • Provide technical assistance and referrals to child care providers.
  • Contribute to the content and publishing of our department newsletters.
  • Review grant applications and conduct follow-up with providers.
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor program activities.
  • Prepare required reports in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Human Services, or a closely related field.
  • Two years of work experience in the Early Childhood field.
  • Above-average computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Work Environment:

This is an office-based position with some driving required to complete site visits and technical assistance in Jefferson and Lewis Counties.
