About the Role

First Help Financial is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Collections Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Collections Department, you will be responsible for communicating with borrowers, resolving collection issues, and meeting departmental goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve collection issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Responsible for opening client complaints and escalating issues to management as needed
  • Deescalate customer disputes and resolve discrepancies in outstanding due balances
  • Meet defined department goals and activity metrics
  • Prepare and provide written account information to customers
  • Answer inbound phone calls and handle transfer of ownership
Requirements
  • Fluent in Portuguese and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Minimum of 6 months of Collections experience or 1 year of related customer service experience
  • Detail-conscious and task-oriented mindset
  • Commitment to excellent customer service to our customers and dealer partners
