Tri-State Drilling is on the lookout for a meticulous and experienced Finance Coordinator to oversee the financial operations of our expanding organization. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately recording all monetary transactions, including cash inflows and outflows, into the appropriate financial ledgers, ensuring precision at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Excel proficiently
- Scrutinize financial transactions for correctness
- Input financial data into the designated ledgers
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
- Process vendor payments promptly
- Complete necessary tax documentation
- Manage cash deposits and accurately record all cash transactions
- Oversee the office petty cash management
- Administer payroll for company employees
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and mathematical skills
- Familiarity with payroll and bookkeeping principles
- Ability to manage and balance substantial bank accounts
