Position Overview

Summary

The Children's Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC) is a prominent organization dedicated to delivering comprehensive family support services. We are seeking to expand our Family Service Team by adding a Family Service Worker who will play a vital role in fostering family engagement and ensuring access to essential resources for families with young children.


Key Responsibilities

The Family Service Worker will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating family engagement initiatives.
  • Providing referrals to necessary services based on family needs.
  • Overseeing the recruitment and enrollment process for families, including conducting intake and eligibility assessments.
  • Managing a designated caseload of families.
  • Collaborating with external service agencies to enhance support.
  • Working closely with educational staff to align services with family needs.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a related field.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or Social Work.
  • Bilingual skills are preferred.
