Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide exceptional support for Amada Automation Systems, focusing on core machinery operations. This role involves installation, maintenance, and comprehensive training across various aspects of automation technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expertly troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems, including networking issues.
  • Accurately interpret layout drawings and blueprints for equipment installation.
  • Prepare daily service reports and weekly expense documentation.
  • Communicate effectively in English to ensure clear understanding with clients.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations and follow-up practices.
  • Oversee the complete equipment installation process at client locations, which may involve physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and climbing.
  • Conduct training sessions on operation, applications, software, and part programming.
  • Utilize Amada applications software for line control and part programming.
  • Engage in regular travel within designated territories.
  • Lift weights up to 50 lbs as required.
Additional Qualifications:

Preferred Education: A four-year degree in Electronics or a minimum of a two-year degree with relevant experience.

Essential Skills:
  • Ability to analyze and repair various systems including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical, and electrical.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, Volt/Ohm meters, and oscilloscopes.
  • Familiarity with computers and Windows operating systems.
  • Capable of reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Accountable for providing comprehensive service and support throughout the customer’s ownership experience.
Travel Requirements:
  • Regular travel within assigned territories, with occasional overnight stays.
