Position Overview:

The Sales Engineer will possess a robust background in Sales and Business Development methodologies, complemented by a solid technical understanding of electrical and thermodynamic concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client inquiries regarding thermoelectric technology, products, and their applications across various sectors.
  • Create presentations and marketing materials that effectively communicate product advantages and services to clients.
  • Formulate and execute strategies to identify and engage new customers while nurturing relationships with prospective clients.
  • Consult with current and potential clients to evaluate their equipment needs and system requirements.
  • Enhance the sales processes to align with the organization's objectives.
  • Identify and reach out to new clients through networking and outreach efforts.
  • Provide expertise in electrical and thermodynamic principles to articulate the firm's products, services, and capabilities.
  • Utilize field knowledge and product features to align offerings with client needs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, which may involve recommending product adjustments.
  • Present optimal materials or products to clients, highlighting the value-added benefits.
  • Deliver specifications, quotes, and bid information to clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, sales terms, and service agreements; prepare contracts and process orders.
  • Conduct contract reviews on incoming Purchase Orders.
  • Regularly prepare and present results, account statuses, and lead updates to management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP software is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
