About the Role

Motorola Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Physical Security Solutions Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business with end customers, driving territory engagement, and creating and managing a healthy sales funnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new business with end customers with emphasis on new account development
  • Drive territory engagement from trade shows, product demos/trainings, to lunch & learns
  • Create and manage a healthy sales funnel
  • Partner with distributors, integrators, and end users to drive sales in the territory
  • Prospecting on a daily basis using all tools available will be key to the success of this position
  • Attain "Trusted Advisor" status with customers and Channel Partners to enable increased System and Business
  • Be a problem solver for partners (helping with quotes, proposals or helping troubleshoot objections)
  • Work Cross Functionally with other departments
  • Weekly and Quarterly Reporting around pipelines, partner pipelines and forecasting
  • Maintain best practices while working inside the CRM (Salesforce)
  • Travel extensively throughout the territory and occasional travel within North America
Requirements
  • 2+ years of Sales experience
  • Travel Requirements: Over 50%
