Job Description

**Job Summary**

Industrial Air Flow Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Manager to oversee the company's field operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of employees, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental procedures, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project costs and schedules while prioritizing employee safety and product quality.
  • Assign field personnel and coordinate travel arrangements for mobilization needs.
  • Attend client meetings to discuss field personnel opportunities and identify client needs.
  • Present proposals, reports, and findings to clients and stakeholders.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, and enforcing company policies.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement constructive suggestions for change.
  • Manage project timelines, apply company methodology, and minimize exposure to risk.
  • Communicate project information to relevant parties and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting career and leadership development.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Lead team members to their fullest potential, encourage collaboration, and foster positive communication.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Implement company safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain open communication with field personnel.
  • Manage personnel and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Confer with supervisory personnel and labor representatives to resolve complaints and grievances.
  • Collaborate with engineering personnel, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve construction problems and improve methods.
  • Implement policies, standards, and procedures for work.
  • Direct workers on major maintenance or reconditioning projects.
  • Conduct superintendent meetings and coordinate with the Safety Manager and Foreman to manage accidents and incidents.
  • Communicate and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure high-performance operations.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of project management experience.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to perform labor and material takeoffs.
  • Efficient and well-organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.
  • Valid driver's license.

Work Availability:

  • Travel 60% during busy outage seasons based on project needs.
  • Must be available and willing to work weekends and holidays as determined by the employer.
  • Must maintain a cell phone for emergency contact purposes.
