Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Field Service Manager to join our team at Waukesha-Pearce. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling field service personnel, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing the day-to-day operations of our Field Service Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule field service personnel to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Interface with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Manage and coordinate parts and buyout requirements, as well as billing and invoicing.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulations.
  • Supervise and manage a team of field service personnel, including foremen, leaders, administrative assistants, and field clerks.
  • Delegate duties and responsibilities to team members to ensure effective day-to-day operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase output and efficiency, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all field service personnel are up-to-date on Waukesha recertification requirements.
  • Close and invoice jobs in a timely manner, ensuring accurate and efficient billing and payment processes.
  • Promote safe operations and a culture of safety within the Field Service Department.
  • Be available for 24/7 customer and employee support, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Interview and hire new skilled technicians, ensuring that they meet the necessary qualifications and standards.
  • Maintain a high level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, using technology to aid in internal processes and improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate technicians for jobs and communicate with customers on logistics, ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain close contact and good relations with customers, including onsite visits and regular communication.
  • Administer safety programs and protocols, ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines, including DOT regulations.
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings and complete required reports, ensuring that safety is a top priority within the Field Service Department.
  • Prepare and adhere to the Company Salary Plan, providing timely performance reviews and equitable increase programs.
  • Perform other duties and functions as requested by management, ensuring that the needs of the organization are met.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a field service or operations management role.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; trade school and/or some college preferred.
  • Applied certification(s) for the above job description preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the natural gas compression industry and its operations.
  • Ability to foster a strong, cohesive team environment and work in a fast-paced, high-performing workplace.
  • Ability to lead and set standards for ED inspections, ensuring quality assurance and identification of future planned maintenance/repairs projects.
  • Computer literacy with a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Dependability and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good client relations and professional appearance.
  • Ability to effectively motivate, supervise, and evaluate others.
  • Ability to pass and maintain drug/alcohol testing requirements as outlined by the Department of Transportation.
  • Knowledge of safety rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of the natural gas compression industry.
