Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized Customer Service Export Specialist to join our Import/Export Sales Administration & Customer Service team. This role will support the Lactalis American Group (LAG) and Lactalis Heritage Dairy (LHD) Export businesses.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a strong understanding of products, services, and capabilities to manage customer orders effectively.
- Process orders of US products received from external or internal customers.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure superior customer service and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor order pricing and adhere to contracted customer pricing.
- Coordinate with Planning/Plant to ensure quantities and delivery dates are respected.
- Coordinate shipment of orders for land and ocean transport from plant to port of delivery with logistics and/or freight forwarders.
- Report critical issues affecting customer service to the Supervisor and/or Assistant Director.
- Act as a backup to other Customer Service staff to cover vacations and personal time.
- Manage bookings and loadings of containers.
- Issue export documents per order, including AMS/APHIS, COO, CoA, Invoice, Packing List, BOL, and SLIs.
- Adhere to all country-related regulatory compliance standards.
- Assist customers with quality-related documentation and issues.
- Communicate and problem-solve with domestic and overseas stakeholders.
- Meet productivity standards and complete work in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's Degree from a College or University.
- 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft suite (Excel, Word).
- Valid Driver's License or State Issued ID to register with government agencies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and complex workload.
- Knowledge of export logistics terminology (INCOTERMS/Ocean shipping Terms).
- Team player able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make effective autonomous decisions.
- Basic Math Skills.
$23.50 per hour
