Position: Operations Support

We are seeking a meticulous individual to fulfill the role of Operations Support at our Kano Trucking Services facility. This position is essential for overseeing daily operations and delivering outstanding customer service to guarantee the seamless execution of shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Schedule deliveries, address inquiries, and liaise with forwarders.
  • Invoicing: Generate and distribute invoices to clients.
  • Documentation Management: Print manifests, delivery receipts, and maintain organized office files.
  • Client Assistance: Provide support to customers in person.
  • Delivery Tracking: Monitor shipments and associated documentation.
  • Communication: Engage with customers, shippers, and receivers effectively.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of administrative or clerical experience.
  • Familiarity with logistics, dispatch, or customer service operations.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
