POSITION SUMMARY:

Oversees and orchestrates the daily functions of our Logistics and Freight services to enhance efficiency and boost profitability.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Accountable for all personnel within the Logistics and Freight Operations, including recruitment, performance evaluations, and separations.
  • Supervise, guide, and mentor staff daily to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Develop strategies to enhance revenue and manage costs effectively.
  • Implement safety training and conduct necessary investigations.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
  • Comprehend customs regulations for bonded storage facilities.
  • Create and uphold record-keeping and financial tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic objectives.
  • Execute and delegate projects as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field with a minimum of 5 years of management experience; or 10 years of management experience.

Experience/Skills/Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of risk and safety management practices.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and delegation abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and various software applications.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
Strong interpersonal and decision-making capabilities.
CPR and First Aid Certified, Valid Driver's License.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
10 years of experience in the freight or transportation sector.
Knowledge of business operations, strategic planning, and human resources principles.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work may be conducted in both indoor and outdoor environments, with travel between locations as necessary.

NORMAL WORK HOURS:
Standard hours are Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime as required.

GUIDELINES:
Must adhere to internal policies, safety regulations, and directives from executive management.
