About the Role

Burrow Global is seeking an experienced Senior Project Cost Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our project controls group, you will be responsible for tracking and analyzing costs associated with capital projects, assisting with cash flow forecasting, and providing cost analysis to project managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Tracking and Analysis: Monitor and analyze costs associated with capital projects, including manual accruals and variances to forecast.
  • AFE Management: Ensure work processes are followed for documents processed through the department related to AFEs (Authorization for Expenditures), review and format AFEs for submittal to management, and resolve invoice-related issues.
  • Capital Closing Process: Initiate and follow through on the capital closing work process to ensure timely closure of capital projects in accordance with company policies.
  • Data Management: Maintain all data elements in the CMS Access database, including forecasts, budgets, actuals, approval information, and status updates.
  • Financial Reporting: Work closely with Finance to ensure that the Projects Module costs and the General Ledger costs are in balance monthly.
  • Cost Tracking and Reporting: Prepare cost tracking reports using standard company spreadsheets and assist with KPI reporting and ad-hoc capital reporting.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or significant field experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a project controls cost analyst or finance-related areas.
  • Skills: Complex research and problem-solving skills, strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint, and ability to manage multiple projects with varying complexity.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-driven and motivated, ability to work as a team player, and willingness to work a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off).
