Job Summary

Burrow Global Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Sr. Project Controls Cost Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our project controls group, you will be responsible for tracking and analyzing costs associated with capital projects, assisting with cash flow forecasting, and providing cost analysis to project managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Tracking and Analysis: Track and analyze costs associated with capital projects, including manual accruals and variances to forecast.
  • AFE Management: Review and format AFEs for submittal to management, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
  • Invoice Resolution: Resolve invoice-related issues with procurement, project managers, vendors, and accounts payable.
  • Capital Closing Process: Initiate and follow through on the capital closing work process to ensure timely closure of capital projects.
  • Data Management: Maintain data elements in the CMS Access database for corporate capital reporting.
  • Financial Reporting: Work closely with finance to ensure Projects Module costs and General Ledger costs are in balance monthly.
  • Cost Tracking Spreadsheets: Utilize standard company spreadsheets for cost tracking, adhering to mandated formats for ease of transition.
  • Oracle System Management: Enter AFEs and Change Orders into the Oracle system for approval and tracking.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assist with KPI reporting and ad-hoc capital reporting as needed.
Requirements
  • Complex Research and Problem-Solving: Possess strong research and problem-solving skills to analyze complex cost-related issues.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide cost analysis to project managers.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience in Primavera P6 and Oracle a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively present data and analysis to senior leadership.
  • Teamwork and Motivation: Demonstrate ability to work as a team player, with self-motivation and minimal oversight.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or significant field experience in project controls or finance-related areas, with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
