About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Support Specialist to join our team at Duly Health and Care. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Greet patients, assist with registration, and schedule appointments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Medical Support: Assist physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, and other first aid procedures.
  • Lab Testing: Conduct onsite lab testing, including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.
  • Charting and Filing: Update patient charts and maintain accurate and organized filing systems.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, exemplifying Duly Health and Care's CARE values.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience.
  • Certification: Active medical assistant certification through one of the following: American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcareer Association (NHA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), or American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
  • CPR Certification: Current CPR certification or willingness to become certified upon hire.
  • Experience: Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT, or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care.
