Join Our Team as a Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team at Goldman Sachs. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the closing and ongoing servicing of Residential Mortgage loans and other bulk portfolios.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in financial services, with a strong background in cash/wire reconciliation and accounting. They will possess excellent analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and a control mentality, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

The Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Supporting various businesses, including the Residential Mortgage Desk and SSG Desks
  • Processing monthly remittances received from external servicers
  • Investigating and resolving transactional issues
  • Settling trades and coordinating funds payment/receipt
  • Reviewing daily exception reporting and resolving any outstanding items pertaining to assigned portfolio
  • Communicating with external servicers
  • Communicating closely with internal counterparties such as Desks, Legal, Compliance, Controllers, etc...
